The Olympic Games is a microcosm of life. Champion is valuable as there is spirit of number of per severances and self-challenges in it.
Olympic is human’s congregation. There is no any activity like Olympics which holding in atmosphere of impartial, composed and kind, festivity in this world.
I wish spirit of Olympic Games goes to the world and brings peace, happiness, prosperity and hopes forever to the world.
'One World One Dream' Beijing to host the 2008 Olympic Games will bring a lot of benefits with no any doubt. It will make local economic prosper and increasing employment opportunities. Also, it is a national honor for the country which bidding for Olympics.
On the other hand, from another perspective, bidding for Olympics could cause some negative effects.
Firstly, environment is becoming a problem as wasting enormous amount of public activities for flyers and other material are most likely to be overlooked. There will be lot of trees going to be cut to widen streets. Also, build new sports centers and residential facilities reduce farmlands. It may lead a huge amount of debt as new facilities may vacant after the Games. Those environmental affected are serious to a Third World country which has limited resources and densely populated city.
Secondly, the rapid increase economic growth may lead to a bubble economy, and it may be able to easily collapse.
Finally, let us imagine that those low-income groups in the city. It is definitely not good news for them to pay more taxes, higher prices of housing and higher costs of living from bidding for Olympics.
However, Rome was not built in a day. China is preparing such as environment, weather, exhibitions etc. as good as she can at every stage before the Game started. "New Beijing, Great Olympics" is all Chinese all over the world are looking forward to the 2008 Beijing Olympics, so that the world can feel the spirit of humanitarianism and human concept of the Olympic Games in China, all people in the world could watch the progress of human society and civilization grand celebrations. Even though we could not like those famous stars to do such things for preparation of Olympics, but just let us work together to build harmonious warmth of Olympic family.
